Human Anatomy and Physiology Course:
Clinically-focused, basic anatomy and physiology course
worth 40 CE credits covered in 2 20-hour weekend workshops.
Part I January 9-11, 1998; Part II January 23-25, 1998.
Cost: $400 each part.
We are offering an exceptional new course for all clinicians which deals
with the relationship of the mind and body in clinical practice. Begin to
explore just what are the neurobiological changes that result from talk
therapy, psychotropic medications, and adjunctive mind/body
interventions.
CLINICALLY FOCUSED BASIC ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY will proceed
through the systems of the body providing foundational information and
relaying it to clinical issues. You will learn about some of the
physiological mechanisms behind syndromes and problems that
you are treating. A basic understanding of mood, stress, trauma
and behavior will be integrated into the course. Even the least
scientifically inclined individual will feel comfortable and informed.
In addition to the valuable knowledge that will directly improve your
understanding, and therefore your practice, you will earn CE credits for
your license renewal. This course is also accredited by the Biofeedback
Certification Institute of America to meet the 40-hour certification
requirement in Human Anatomy and Physiology.
