Back to Basics: Professional Practice Development-Biofeedback, Neurofeedback and Marketing will examine issues which are key to the practice of biofeedback and self-regulation. There will also be opportunities for networking.

Dr. Keith Sedlacek is a past President of the Biofeedback Society of New York and has been a member of the board of the Biofeedback Society of America (AAPB). He founded and was Chief of Biofeedback Services at St. Luke's Hospital, Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he is currently a member of the faculty in Clinical Psychiatry. Among his many publications is The Sedlacek Technique: Finding the Calm Within You.

Dr. Michael Tansey served as: Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of the Society for the Study of Neuronal Regulation, an editor for the journal ÒBiofeedback and Self-RegulationÓ and the publication: Clinical Efficacy and Cost-effectiveness of Biofeedback Therapy: Guidelines for Third Party Reimbursement, and Program Chairman for the EEG Brainwave Section of the AAPB annual convention.

Lucy Rosen is the President of The Business Development Group, Inc., a company that provides strategic and creative marketing services for entrepreneurs and growing companies. She is a frequent speaker on subjects such as ÒEssentials for Success...How to start and run a profitable businessÓ. She has been an entrepreneur for over 15 years and is frequently interviewed by business publications on the subject of successful entrepreneurship.

Dr. Bolea from Maryland has a unique approach to neuropsychological rehabilitation incorporating EEG bf. We will be looking at relationship influences on brain functioning as well. The 29th annual meeting of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback will be held at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel in Orlando, Florida, adjacent to the Disney Village.
