ABOUT THE GEORGIA BIOFEEDBACK NETWORK
The Georgia Biofeedback Network is a group of biofeedback providers many of whom were one-time members of the Georgia Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback. The Network is simply a way for colleagues and clients to locate one another and neither credentials nor makes claims regarding listed providers.
The designation of BCIA to the right of the provider's name signifies that person has obtained certification from the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America. You may learn more about BCIA at www.bcia.org. The designation of EEG to the right of the provider's name signifies that provider has certification in brainwave biofeedback, or neurofeedback, from BCIA. Note that certification indicates that provider has demonstrated at least a minimum level of competence to BCIA and is not a requirement to deliver biofeedback services. However, it is a good idea to be certain that a provider has received appropriate training to qualify them to work with your health condition, and to have received appropriate medical screening before beginning biofeedback training.
